Voluntary Contributions

School Fund

We ask all parents to make a small contribution each year towards enrichment activities provided that enhance the curriculum at Avenue, such as visiting speakers, activities and workshops. This is £15 per child, and we will ask for this in the first half-term of the school year.

Each Year Group will also have their own school trip or workshop which we will ask you to pay for separately later in the Autumn term.

Swimming

We are very fortunate at Avenue to be able to provide swimming lessons on site. To cover the increasing costs of swimming lessons, we are asking for a small contribution of £10 per child, from those classes that swim. This supports the running of the pool and pays towards your child's lesson.

Both of these payments can be found on your child's Arbor account under the heading Trips.

We welcome any contributions in excess of this amount, and will also be sensitive to the financial situation for some families.

Music lessons, some materials, payments for clubs and our extended school provision are all chargeable items.

School journeys/residentials for Y4-6 are also extra.
