Year 6
Welcome to Year 6
This is the final year of Key Stage Two and also the year of the government’s statutory End of Key Stage Assessments in reading, writing, mathematics, grammar, punctuation & spelling (SPaG). We do lots to celebrate the children’s final year at Avenue and to prepare them for their next exciting adventure in Key Stage Three. We have a residential trip to Hindleap Warren at the start of the year and at the end of the year we put on a production to show to the rest of the school and parents. On the last day of term we have an end of year celebration after school and everyone is given a leavers' T-shirt and year book.
