Big well done to EYFS for raising £216 for Barnardos by walking 6 laps of the school field!

On Tuesday 10th June we will be raising money for Barnardo's by taking part in a Toddle Waddle around our school field. Please decorate your flag if you have not done so and remember to bring a raincoat on Tuesday too.

Many Thanks

On Saturday 21st June we will be celebrating our Summer Fayre at Avenue from 11:30 to 3pm. There will be lots of fun activities to get involved in, including an animal handling stall where you can stroke the rabbits and guinea pigs.

Reception will also be opening the fayre with a summer dance. For this we would like them to dress up in bright Hawaiian style clothes. Here is an example:

Please can all parents ensure that they cut up any grapes and strawberries they send into school for their child. This is to ensure we can keep the children safe when they are eating in the lunch hall and classroom.

Many thanks.

Following World Book Day, if your children have outgrown any of their dressing up costumes, please feel free to donate them to us in Reception. Our children love dressing up and we are always on the look out for donations.

Thank you so much

The Reception Team.

World Book Day

On Thursday 6th March we will be celebrating World Book Day. Children can come to school dressed as their favourite book character. We will be completing activities based around our favourite books during the school day.

Outdoor Clothing

In Reception, we feel fortunate to have a big outdoor space to play in. Some of us love to play in our Outdoor Mud Kitchen. Mud makes us happy, encourages our creativity, provides sensory stimulation and helps us connect to nature in our safe environment.

We know that this means children can come home looking muddy. If your child loves to play in the mud, please do send them with spare wellies (they can keep in school) and any other outdoor clothing that is suitable for messy play.

Thank you

Farm Visit

We are planning a visit from Manor Farm Experience in June 2025. In order for this to take place we are asking all parents to make a £10 donation via Arbor parent portal. Please make your donations by Friday 1st December so we can see if this visit can go ahead.
