Charlotte’s career in Human Resources spans a 25 year period. She has spent the majority of her working life in the private sector, working for a global professional services organisation. She studied at Westminster University, gaining a degree in Human Resource Management and for the last 10 years has specialised in advising on all aspects of employee relations matters and policy creation and development. Charlotte has a particular interest in the area of dispute resolution and has been pushing to embed a culture of informal resolution to complaints within the workplace; the skills and experience of which she considers to be transferable outside the workplace and of which she hopes to be able to share within the academic environment. Charlotte is the parent of a child in Year 6 and balances work and the enjoyment of running from one sports club to another and being on the sideline on a Saturday morning, cheering the team along!
