How We Learn
Children enjoy learning through play. Our environment enables children to select and use resources independently to lead their own learning and embed knowledge and skills. Children are supported in their play by adults who promote conversation and deepen thinking.
Each half term there is an underlying learning theme and teacher inputs will relate to this theme. Planned enhancement activities may relate to the half termly theme or directly to children’s interests.
Children will have daily story time sessions. In Nursery, children have Rainbow sessions where they have direct input from their keyworker. In Reception, children have daily phonics and maths inputs along with inputs that support the learning and development across the areas of learning.
