  The children have written to the Queen, informing her of our Jubilee celebrations on Thursday 26^th May. They have told her about some of the activities we will be doing, and also invited her to join us (should she happen to be free that day).

• Boston Dynamics Robot Dog

  Avenue Primary Academy were visited by a team of engineers from Marlborough Communications Ltd, a leading supplier of advanced communications, information systems and signals intelligence technology to the defence and security sectors. The team shared their experiences of how they each came to be involved in engineering, and their previous roles in the British Army and Royal Air Force. This was a wonderful opportunity to inspire and encourage the children to pursue careers in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). A demonstration of the Boston Dynamics Robot Dog really was the icing on the cake! 

   

   

  

• Avenue boys' football team success!

  Avenue Primary Academy are delighted to announce their recent success in the Sutton and Cheam district football cup. The Boys team successfully won the final match against Cheam Park Farm and brought home the historic trophy, which we have not been in possession of since 2009/10. The team should be delighted with their achievements. Well done!
